Dear Cathie,
We had the pleasure to sleep one night in your B&B. we are very satisfied of your hospitality. The atmosphere is warm, the bed is most comfortable the view on the cove is nice.. On waking, we had the chance to see two deer by our patio door. And what about brie strata served at breakfast. Simply delicious. Thank you for everything. Paul and Lise Quebec

By the Bay B&B is a cosy place to stay on the south Shore. It has a lofty view from the veranda of Long Cove, part of beautiful St Margaret's Bay. The veranda is great, the room very comfortable & spacious, and the breakfast was really good. So was the company of the other guests and our congenial, helpful host. Aside from the view of the Bay, my favourite memory is of the stars at night from the back lawn. . .haven't seen the stars like that for many years. Thank you Cathie!

My wife and I spent three nights at By the Bay. We were attending a wedding. Cathie is a wonderful host and the breakfasts were spectacular. Sitting around the dining room table chatting with Cathie, Selwin and other guests was a nice way to start the day. The property close to all the places you want to visit. We spent a day touring the South Shore, a day in Annapolis Valley and then the wedding day. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the water and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on in our travels. We visit Halifax a lot and will be back to stay at By the Bay.

Writing this in the Nora and John Fraser room sat on the bed, watching the view through the window drinking wine

This place is everything it says it is. Friendly (Cathie, Bonny and Ali were so welcoming and friendly). The room was comfortable beyond words and beautifully decorated. The bed was one of best and most comfortable ones that we had slept in.

Home made bread, croissants and rolls were stunning as was the granola. Fresh cooked breakfasts with great coffee.

Would recommend this B and B if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed

We stayed two nights in May 2018 but wish we had booked a few nights more. Cathie made us feel like at home. The B&B is charming and it has all you need. It is a few kilometers from Peggy's Cove and it is also a good starting point for discovering other attractions of Nova Scotia. There's a lovely garden behind the house with a nice view of the bay.
Our mornings started with delicious breakfast which we had together with Cathie and Bunny who was her helper at the time.
We loved staying at the B&B and definitely recommend it! Cathie, thank you for everything!

A beautiful Inn in a stunning setting. We especially enjoyed getting to know Cathie who joined us at breakfast and relaxing in the afternoon.

Fabulous b n b. Cathie was a wonderful hostess. Home and accommodations were superb. Very clean home very welcoming warm lovely atmosphere. The grounds and view of water was spectacular. Breakfast was great both mornings with lots of variety and home made items. Cathie prides herself on making guests feel welcome and she puts a lot of effort in her breakfast menus. Highly recommend this b n b to anyone!

We had a very good time at Cathies place. The service was excellent, the hospitality very friendly. "By the Bay" is a very nice & clean accommodation with a wonderful view. Cathie prepares extra vegan delicious breakfast ( vegan fresh prepared apple crumble, vegan homemade bread with avocado & tomatoes, homemade Granola with fruits and almond -milk ) for me !” Thank you for that "extra" service :-)
